In the summer of 1947 - New Mexico was rife with UFO sightings. When Mac Brazel found a massive pile of shiny silver debris on his ranch, he couldn't explain it. When he involved the local Sheriff - things began to unravel. The local military published a press release claiming evidence of a flying silver disc had been recovered - but they quickly changed their mind and said it was, in fact, a weather balloon. 

However, conspiracy theories began to run wild. There were local claims of alien bodies and autopsies done on extra-terrestrial corpses. Is it possible the Government was trying to cover up the truth of what happened at Roswell? 

This week on G&G we discuss the not so sweet grandmother Dorothea Puente. A classic "don’t judge a book by its cover" case. Dorothea looked like a sweet, elderly lady. However, she was much younger than she seemed! She set up a boarding house for people who were homeless, suffered with drug/alcohol abuse, or had disabilities. However, this generous act was not as it seemed, she would steal their social security benefits and overdose them on a concoction of sleeping pills.

Daniel Morcombe simply wanted to visit a shopping centre to buy Christmas presents. Sadly, the people who caught a glimpse of Daniel at the bus stop were the last people to see the 13 year old alive. Queensland undertook it’s largest ever investigation into a missing person that spanned across several years. The outcome was tragic. What happened to Daniel?

Between 2010 and 2017, 8 men vanished from the gay village in Toronto, Canada. Many of those men were struggling to come to terms with their own sexual identity. Their killer, Bruce McArthur, used that to his advantage. To those around him, Bruce appeared a jovial man that enjoyed his job as a landscaper. However, inside was a monster. 

Despite several close calls, including being arrested for assault and questioned in relation to a killing, Bruce was able to carry out his murderous spree for years. This episode puts a lot more emphasis on the stories of the victims who were tragically killed by Bruce to fulfil his sick, sexual fantasies. As always, this episode comes with a trigger warning. 

On the 1st September 2015, Lieutenant Joseph 'G.I. Joe' Gliniewicz calls for back up after pursuing three males into the wooded area of Fox Lake. Moments later, Joe is found lying face down after a fatal shooting. Suspicions began to rise surrounding the death of the cop fallen in the line of duty. There were no visible signs of a physical altercation or defensive wounds as well as more unsettling evidence. Find out who Joe was and what happened in this week's episode.

Still, Durst remained free. Later, a former friend of Durst, Susan Berman, was killed. Not only was Durst linked to her killing, but his wife's disappearance could be one of the factors. 

Durst eventually took on a new identity - that of a mute woman! Still, he found himself implicated in the murder and dismemberment of an associate. If this case could get any crazier, Durst took part in a documentary that uncovered evidence that led to his eventual prosecution. This week's episode is a must listen!
