Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie has had a unique effect on movie theatres across the country, drawing thousands to the big screen to experience the very concert they weren’t able to see in person -- or, for a lucky few, to relive the experience they had attending the Eras Tour earlier this year. Swift herself has encouraged fans to dress up, trade friendship bracelets, take selfies and sing along in the theatres, treating the film like the concert itself. Gormley takes it to the listeners -- is this behaviour appropriate in this context? Or should etiquette in a movie theatre be unwavering to respect everyone’s viewing pleasure?
