The United Conservative Party (UCP) has won a majority in the Alberta Election. The NDP did, however, gain seats in Calgary and Edmonton. Duane Bratt, a political science professor at Mount Royal University and author of "Blue Storm: The Rise and Fall of Jason Kenney" joins Gormley to share his reaction to the election results.

Regarding concussions, it has not been easy to diagnose them in the clinical setting correctly. A Canadian researcher hopes to help develop a diagnostic standard to diagnose them properly. Noah Silverberg is an Associate psychology professor at the University of British Columbia and co-author of the paper "Management of Concussion and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: A Synthesis of Practice Guidelines.” He joins Gormley to explain how changing the diagnoses’ focus will help treat concussions.

Canada has the highest level of household debt among G7 countries. Most of that debt is in mortgages but has not been struck by the increasing interest rates. Dr. Jason Childs, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Regina, has been looking into this and joins Gormley to discuss what will happen if the household debt becomes too much for Canadians.

AI allows food companies to gather insights into their customers’ behaviours and anticipate changes they might make in buying. Janet Music, the Research Program Coordinator at Dalhousie University Agri-Food Analytics lab, joins Gormley to discuss why AI distrust exists in the food industry.
