A new effort to empower future business owners and innovators celebrated its first cohort of graduates as eight city residents earned an Entrepreneurship Certificate of Completion at a recent ceremony. The program is a partnership between the city’s Disabled Services Division, the Mayor’s Disability Council, the Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business Program and Florida State College at Jacksonville. We talk to an administrator and a program participant about what the early success means for the nascent Entrepreneurship Program for Individuals with Disabilities.
