The federal government shutdown continues into today, raising concerns on what could be affected. More than 400 homes will be built in Harmony Grove, a neighborhood West of Escondido, despite concerns of not having enough evacuation routes in the case of a wildfire. The Padres and Cubs are moving onto game three of the Wild Card Series, after the Padres beat the Cubs 3-0.
