An insight from 2008 to today showing examples of how I started to to support myself in the growth of my empowerment whilst building up my self-esteem and confidence, with very little support from Mental Health and the Medical profession. Yes I was on medication to begin with but found that for me it kept my mind foggy and muddled to help me cope through the day. As time progressed I started looking for things that made me feel happy and calm, making me feel grounded enough to see clearly where and what I needed to do for ME!!

You've Made It, let me tell YOU how PROUD I am that you have made it to December, I know it was hard and there were times you felt like giving up BUT YOU DIDN'T , YOU MADE IT!!!!

Recharge is ALLOWED , no human can keep going without taking themselves out for me time, recharge time!!!!! Do not feel guilty about taking yourself out of the equation of social life and activities to recharge your wellbeing batteries

A letter to ME. A reminder to myself that the first port of call for happiness, love and understanding is actually through myself. Relearn just how important and unique you are as a person. Worthy, loved and happy are some of the most important things we have to think about for our own wellbeing.

Overcome the Past. Most of our stories are filled with broken pieces, terrible choices and ugly truths. But just because that may be a representation of our past, doesn’t mean that you have to take it into your future with you.
