Recently, a comment was made about 24 hours, and it's had social media buzzing. So, I decided to share my thoughts on the matter in today's episode. Now, I have no comments about the one who started the conversation, but there's much to be discussed about the overall topic. So, this may lead to a Part II, but we shall see, lol!

As parents, we have the honor and responsibility to raise future leaders. However, there is no real manual on how. So, it's all trial and error on a wing and a prayer, lol. 

This past month, I've been speaking on love and loving ourselves so we can truly receive and give love to others. Well, today Anthony is joining me on the mic to drop some gems on the subject. 

Today, I am joined by a special guest, my friend, Mrs. Kia Anderson! We are becoming unraveled by acknowledging the struggles we sometimes have with embracing the now.

In order to receive love, you have to know you desire it. Sometimes, I have a hard time receiving compliments because I don't see myself the way others do. I struggle with that because I'm haven't embraced who I am now. Instead, I've been focused on who I want to be, so there's no room to love me, here. 

Have you watched the movie Encanto yet? If not, I highly recommend it, as well as just listening to the soundtrack. The entire movie and soundtrack are great, but one of the characters and songs that I related to most was Luisa and her song, Surface Pressure. Sometimes we can get weighed, thinking we have to do it all on our own, but we don't. Let's talk about it in today's episode.
