This month, I've been talking about vision in one way or another, and to be honest, it was from conversations with my hubby and the vision for our home. So what better way to end the month, than to have him come on and share his thoughts.  

We've all heard the mantra, "New Year New Me," but is it really a new you? How can true change occur if you're still trying to work the old system? That old cliche, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," ain't never made sure things were efficient and effective. 

There are some people who always have something going on, and just don't know how to "sat down somewhere," lol.  But I think there's a thin line between running yourself thin and managing the responsibilities you've been given to handle. 

One of the greatest gifts that God has given us is the gift of imagination. If we think about it, nothing really came into existence without first being a thought in someone's mind. So, my question for you is, what do you think of yourself and what are you imagining for yourself this year?

As 2021 comes to an end, some of us may be in a place of feeling unaccomplished or disappointed with the current situation. But I'm here to encourage you that the delayed response or manifestation of your request does not mean it has been denied. 

Is it just me, or does Christmas feel different this year? I mean, I feel caught off guard even though it comes at the same time every year, lol. Oh well, it's here now and I choose to be present and enjoy it. 

If you follow me on IG (as you know you should), you know we do Elf on the Shelf. Well, some think it's crazy and a waste of time, but in the words of Mrs. Tabitha Brown, "That's my business."  But I'm also going to address it in this episode.

I like being in control, or at least think that I am. So, I become uneasy when I don't have the answer to the problem or solution to resolve it. That's where faith should show up, but sometimes I'm a little stubborn. 

This time of year, people are either full of holiday joy or struggling with sadness. The difference between the two groups is perspective. We can either focus on what we have or focus on what we don't. Today, I'm choosing the former. What will you choose?

With everything going on at the moment, the last thing I need is to add more to my plate. But that's exactly what I did by focusing on the minor stuff and wanting things done a certain way. Sometimes we have to just let go and throw away the agenda.
