August 16 Fear Of God // The Practice of Confession
In this episode, Pastor Olu explores the spiritual discipline of confession and how it cultivates the fear of God. Drawing from the historic Pyongyang Revival and Psalm 51, he unpacks how confession invites us to tell the truth about our sin, come face-to-face with a holy God, and position ourselves to receive His mercy.
Ultimately, confession does not earn God’s forgiveness, but because of Jesus, we can step into the light with confidence and discover the beautiful paradox of Psalm 130:4: “With you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.”
