Tim Theule | Psalm 119:1-16 | 01/14/2018

Sola Scriptura . . .'Scripture Alone' was the defining battle cry of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation.  It's an equally important battle cry for followers of Jesus today.  Today we explore what it means and why it matters.

Tim Theule | Deuteronomy 6:1-15 | 01/07/2018

American Christians are increasingly Biblically illiterate.  Yet, the Bible over and over again stresses the importance of taking God's Word into our hearts, talking about it and teaching it to our kids.  How can we do this in this noisy, distracted, busy world?  Historically, catechism has been a tool for doing just that.  This message introduces the New City Catechism to Grace Central Coast for use through 2018.

Tim Theule | Revelation 21:1-6, Philippians 3:12-17 | 12/31/2017

Immanuel is  a promise fulfilled in the coming of Christ at Christmas and so much more.  Immanuel is the realization and fulfillment of all God's promises and the very definition of eternity.   What does this mean for us as we cross the threshold of a new year

Tim Theule | | 12/24/2017

We continue our Immanuel series on this Christmas Eve Sunday with a look at what the miracle 'God with us' means for us now and today.  This message includes a special time with our GraceKids.

Tim Theule | Matthew 1:1-6, 18-23 | 12/17/2017

The birth of Jesus is bursting with blessings for those who embrace the Savior. Among the many is the world-changing truth that Immanuel has come. God is with us in Jesus! In the first of this three-part series, we consider what the coming of Immanuel means for our past.

Tim Theule | Acts 28:16-31 | 12/10/2017

We conclude our Multiply! study of the book of Acts with a look at Acts 28 and Paul's surprising ministry in Rome where we learn that our circumstances are never a hindrance, but a platform for our witness for Jesus

Tim Theule | Acts 26:30-27:26 | 12/03/2017

Among the catalog of Paul's sufferings recorded in 2 Corinthians 11 we find this astounding statement:  'Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea.'  Acts 27 tells the story of one of those shipwrecks with great historical detail.

Miles Nelson | Acts 25:1-12 | 11/26/2017

As the story of Paul's imprisonment progresses, he finds himself, yet again, before governors and kings. God guides Paul as he risks his life to move the Gospel forward to Rome. In Acts 25, God gives Paul three things: Protection, A Way Forward, and Another Audience.

Ben Collins | Acts 24:1–27 | 11/19/2017

Jesus is not only the risen & reigning King over all peoples everywhere, but also over all who reign over all peoples everywhere. He is the King of kings, the Governor of governors, the Lord of lords. At long last, Paul gets his first opportunity to carry the name of Jesus before a 'king', governor Felix through his trial. This text calls us to expect slander, cheerfully respond, and patiently bear witness to our Risen Savior.

Tim Theule | Acts 23:11-35 | 11/12/2017

We continue our Multiply study of the book of Acts with a look at Acts 23:11-35 where a plot to kill Paul is discovered and thwarted. Here we see God's promise and providence working together to accomplish God's purpose.
