We all probably face this dilemma with at least one person in our life – what gift do you get at Christmas for the person in your life who already has EVERYTHING?! You might be thinking that the correct answer to this and every other question is – “JESUS!”. The Christmas story in Matthew 2 and Luke 2 give us some insight.

The Christmas story is filled with the miraculous & meaningful events. But many of those meaningful events began as mundane & menial events. Can God still take the mundane in your life and make it meaningful?

God isn't looking for super heroes. He uses ordinary people even when life is difficult.

II Cor.12

Though all throughout scripture we are called to “wait on the Lord”, this is often easier said than done. How do we not only wait...but wait well?

“When you are going through suffering and pain it is difficult to find God. Can we discover the presence and reality of God even in suffering? 2 Corinthians 1 shows us what Paul learned and will help us too

In this week’s sermon we will see the importance of gratitude in our lives, particularly in regards to reaching out to those around us. The primary text will be Acts 13, where Paul and Barnabas bring the gospel to the Jews and the Gentiles in Pisidian Antioch. Pay special attention to Acts 13:48.

In a world that is filled with sin, pretense and “trash talk”. Where people try to elevate themselves at the expense of others, God honors the humble and repentant heart. He looks past our sin to who we really are, people in need of His love. Jesus modeled honor through humility and in turn received honor from the Father. Likewise, when we impart that same honor toward others, His abundant life flows, and hearts are changed.

As we continue growing as disciples here at Grace Covenant Church, we are developing, equipping, and releasing leaders. Let’s look together at what God’s model for leadership is (JESUS), and review what God’s pattern for leadership in families is.

According to Jesus, walking with Him is “light & easy” – a revolutionary statement! (Luke 11:28-30). Here is some timely encouragement to follow Christ and “learn the unforced rhythms of grace” as The Message paraphrase states it.
