End times conversations are hard. Some things we feel certain of and some things are still unclear. The end times should motivate us. Jesus often takes a hopeless situation and provides a hope-filled solution. How should we be living today in light of what we know is coming?

Being more concerned with status than compassion is a sign of false faith. False Faith is hopeless. Jesus offers a greater calling. Pursuit of Jesus will always lead us to prioritize him and not our preference. Don't put hope in places it does not belong. Do you feel hopeful or hopeless?

The idea that we can be good enough to earn our way to heaven is not a new concept. Some people will trip over Jesus in their pursuit of God. Some people will be crushed by the weight of his authority. What happens if your foundation fails? What happens if your foundation fails?

God cares deeply about the stewardship of our resources. God measures success by the multiplication of what he has entrusted to us. Multiplication takes work and risk. Being comfortable with what we've been given will cost us the little we have. If we fail at multiplication we have failed to fulfill our mission as followers of Jesus.

Thinking you are righteousness enough to justify yourself before God is a delusion. In God’s economy a broken repentant heart is greater than the actions of moral goodness.

God cares deeply about the stewardship of our resources. Money is a tool. The way you use it either worships God or worships you. Urgency necessitates wisdom and wisdom is the currency of legacy. Your legacy will consist of the ways you leveraged what was entrusted to you. Everything I have can and should be leveraged to build God's Kingdom. What have you been managing poorly? How will you change?

What is most valuable to you? What we value will direct what we are willing to pursue. Do we value the same things God values? Our values reflect the values of those who valued us the most. When we believe we've earned God's love we won't bother sharing it with others. When we show people how valuable they are, we show them the heart of God. Who needs me to show them how valuable they are this week?
