When we believe we've earned God's love we won't bother sharing it with others. When we show people how valuable they are, we show them the heart of God. Who needs me to show them how valuable they are this week?

This weeks lie is "what I receive from the world will be better than what I receive from God". The truth is that God who created me and died for me made a promise to me. Why do we believe the creator of the universe wants to lie to us? The trust you place in Jesus will produce the fruit of your life.

This weeks lie is that "the truth you believe in your heart will produce the fruit you see in your life". When it comes to our resources, this is often our posture. We hold so tightly to the things we earned or that we believe is ours. By nature, we are selfish people who don’t like to share. When we understand that all we have is Gods we can give freely. The truth is that we are stewarding what is already Gods.

This weeks lie "If it comes naturally to me it must be beneficial to me". Self control means not just recognizing the consequences for me, but for others as well. The truth is that choosing what is best, not what is easiest. We elevate the moments of freedom from responsibility and we celebrate our natural desires. Freedom is only as good as what you do with it. The best things in life benefit me, my family, and my relationship with God.

This weeks lie "Gentleness is at best a suggestion and at worst a weakness". Gentleness is the awareness of how to handle something with care. The truth is that gentleness is a gift to give and a strength to wield. Being gentle reflects the very heart of Jesus and shows others that we value them.

This weeks lie is "I have to see the fruit in order to be faithful". Faithfulness is rewarded and is sacrificial. Faithfulness is not a fulfillment of duty, but an act of worship. the truth is that faithless people won't fully experience the faithfulness of God.
