Sometimes our relationships are nice…but they stay on the surface. Sometimes our relationships are transparent, but they have a look only policy. What we need is relationships of vulnerability. Why does vulnerability help fight loneliness?

As those who bear His image, we were created to exist in community. If God's plan requires community, Satan will always pursue disunity. The biblical community serves and uplifts one another. We all long to belong but we will fight to maintain our autonomy. We cannot live effective lives as followers of Jesus outside of community.

We aren't designed to do life alone. Loneliness wreaks havoc on us physically, emotionally, and spiritually because we are operating outside of our design. God exists in community. As those who bear his image, we were created to exist in community.

We need to stop asking God to fix our problems and start asking him to do what only he can do. When we only ask God to fix things, we don't really want to invite him into our lives. Following Jesus means putting in the work. Salvation is not an insurance policy, it's a mission statement.

Are you eagerly waiting or impatiently expecting. Faithfulness is a sign of righteousness. When God seems silent our faithfulness is our worship. Following Jesus is a life of faithful obedience and eagerly waiting. God's timing isn't always fast, but it is always perfect.

Betrayal is one of the deepest wounds to heal.

Being the betrayer is one of the deepest guilts to overcome. Every sin seeks to uphold our own identity while denying our connection to Jesus. We've all done something to put Jesus in the grave. Hope lives in an empty tomb. Jesus put our sin and guilt in a tomb. We need to leave it there.
