Main theme: God has made us to “Get in the Game” to encourage and strengthen others, so God receives the Glory and we can receive our eternal reward.

God’s Game Plan…

I. Pray-Discipline Yourself for Prayer (v. 7)

- Prayer is the spiritual weight room and film study (1 Cor. 9:24, 25)

- ”You got to want it; do you want it?”Hunger and Thirst for God in your life. Hollywood Henderson

- God has a new experience for you, (Hosea 6:3)

II. Relationships-Focus on Connecting and Loving (v. 8-9)

- Christianity is meant to be a “Contact” sport …We need each other

- Community blesses, makes us better not bitter!

- Hospitality- Initiate the Invite!

- Small groups- You Don’t have to ride on the bench or sulk; Get in the Game!

III. Serve-Use Whatever Gift God Gives (v. 10)

- Everyone has a gift from God for people (Eph 4:15, 16)

- Ministry makes you strong, better and full of faith

- God receives the glory, your brothers and sisters are strengthened, you receive the Crown of Life!

I. Have You Not Heard (Isa 40:1,11, 28)

- God is not an App but the Power Source

- Comforts rather than distress

- Leads like a Shepherd

- Creator All powerful

- Ruler of the Nations!

II. He Imparts Strength and Power (Isa 40:29-30)

- In dire situations

- Strength for our Soul (Eph 3:16-19)

- Power for His Work

- Rest for Rejuvenation

III. Power from Waiting (v 31)

Text: Ephesians 2:11-22

MAIN IDEA- GOD CALLS US TO A NEW HUMANITY TO INCLUDE PEOPLE AND GLORIFY HIM

I. REMEMBER (WHERE WE CAME FROM) (Eph 2:11-12)

- Look back so you can go forward- origin- God, DNA, Eden

- Excluded by race, gender or creed

- Without hope and without God

II. BUT NOW IN CHRIST- A NEW HUMANITY (Eph 2:13-18)

- Brought Near!

- Dividing walls of Hostility Broken Down

- A NEW HUMANITY! – the two made one, Peace

BOTH HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER

III. FELLOW CITIZENS – “THEY” BELONG! (Eph. 2:19-22)

- A Firm Foundation, Christ the Cornerstone

- God is Building and Growing His Holy Temple

- TOGETHER VISION-IMAGINE!

Title: Made for More - Secure, Rooted, Strengthened, and Beyond

Main Idea- Uncertain times wear us down, but God has made us for more

I. Security - Who I AM and Whose I AM (v. 14-15)

- Heavenly Father - His Sons and Daughters

- Purpose-For this reason (v. 10)

- Strengthened by His Power in the Inner Man!

- Beyond a second hand relationship with God
