Main Idea-God calls His Church to Biblical Justice which only flows from a personal faith whose works are mercy, justice and walking humbly before God (Micah 6:8)

I. The Lord’s Table is For Remembering (v. 23-26)

- “Remembrance of Me”

- The Cross:

1. Vertical.. Love came down so we could be saved and lifted up

2. Horizontal; Jesus Out-stretched arms were for the whole world

- New Covenant- a New Humanity…God making His appeal through us!

II. The Lord’s Table is for Real Relationships (v. 27-31)

- Our relationship with Christ is not a “one and done” deal; He calls us to take up our cross; it is messy and often inconvenient but it is right!

- Relationships have to be eye ball to eye ball; the proof of our faith

III. The Lord’s Table is for Waiting (v. 33)

- Waiting for others is the cornerstone of justice-loving your neighbor as yourselves

- Waiting means considering, lifting up, honoring and advocating for

Title: Faith is Fruitful

Text: Psalm 1

Main Idea God has promised those who trust in Him that He will make them Fruitful and Multiply our lives.

I. God’s Promise of the Blessed Life to Those Who Seek Him (v. 1,2; Romans 12:1,2)

- Blessing, or happiness flowing from a sense of well-being and rightness

- Because they do not Walk, Sit, or Stand in the way of the unrighteous

- A lifestyle immersed and focused on association with people and things opposed to God

- This lifestyle dominates and shapes a person’s worldview

II. Fruitfulness Promised (v. 3)

- Planted by the Master Gardener Rom 8:28, security and trust

- Success and Fruitfulness

Title: Faith Is Walking By The Spirit

Main Idea: The Spirit of God brings real change

I. Through His Spirit God Gives Life (Romans 8:10-11)

II. Stay In Step With The Spirit (Galatians 5:25)

I. Freedom Through Jesus to Experience Abundant Life (Gal 4:3-5)

II. Now That Faith Has Come-From Slaves to Sons! (Gal 3:25-27, 4:1-7)

- Formerly slaves, but in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son

- Jesus Redeemed us; we are now sons and daughters His children in His House

- Heirs, trusted, affirmed, loved and protected

- Freedom from Fear (Romans 8:15)

III. Freedom is your calling! (Gal 5:1,13 Gal 2:20)

- Steward it

- Live It- Christ Lives In You!

- Serve (Gal 5:13)

- Harvest of Freedom

- Confident in the Power of Jesus-what we have we give to you

- Confident in their Power to Help-look at us

- Confident of the real need

II. Faith In the Name of Jesus (Acts 14:6,9)

- The Holy and Righteous One-v.14, the Prince of Life and Resurrected One-v15, God’s Christ-v18, God’s Servant-v. 13, 26

- The Power of that Name Raised him up- what miracles has Jesus done in your life? Healing of cancer recently through nephew’s ministry, healings at Grace(recall them), answered prayers for salvation of friends and loved ones….

III. Faith that Comes Through Jesus (v.16, 19-20)
