2 Peter 3:1-4 - Do not be surprised when people scoff at the news that Jesus is coming again.

Romans 8:1-4 - If you told someone that you are in Christ, what would he think? We are either in Adam or in Christ. Adam is the federal head of all mankind. The Lord Jesus Christ is the federal head of all who believe in him; all who have been born again. This is a living connection, like branches growing in a vine.

2 Peter 2:10-22 - Very solemn words. Peter has warned of false teachers who would use deception to spread their heresies. Often they are very clever. They are self-willed and they walk after the flesh. Born again Christians are to walk after the Spirit and bring forth the fruit of the Spirit. The false teachers have no time for the word of God, thereby showing themselves to be the enemies of Christ.

Acts 5:29-42 - When you hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, how do you react? In Acts 5, we see three very contrasting reactions.

2 Peter 2:4-9 - A most solemn and serious subject. The enemies of God will be judged. Peter makes this clear and uses three examples to show it.

Luke 24:13-35 - On the road to Emmaus we meet two despondent disciples. The answer to their doubts though is to be found in scripture.

2 Peter 2:1-3 - There is a great need to be aware, there are false teachers who seek to lead people astray. What is the answer to this?

Acts 5:12-33 - The tomb was empty; Jesus is risen. This is the message that the Apostles preached. But Jesus had risen from the dead amidst hostility and unbelief.

Mark 15:25-39 - That Army officer and the other soldiers who had nailed Jesus to the cross stood before him and watched him die. Surely they saw something of his peace and joy as he died.

John 12:1-26 - In the few days before his arrest and crucifixion, many people had different interests and reactions to Jesus. What about you?
