1 Peter 1:1-3 - Peter wrote to God's elect who have been born again by the word of God. His call is to be holy; to lay aside sin; malice; hypocrisy; backbiting etc. Instead, as a new born baby, desire the sincere milk of the word.

Malachi 3:13-15 - The Lord graciously called on the Jews to repent. Instead of falling before the Lord in repentance they said, Wherein shall we return? As John Calvin said, "It is an evidence of perverseness."

1 Peter 1:21-25 -

Malachi 3:7-12 -

1 Peter 1:17-20 - A father must not only be loving but also respected. How much more so with our heavenly Father? Our lives should have a reverential fear.

Luke 18:18-30 - The desire for eternal life is good, and he came to the right person with his question but this man's thinking was wrong.

1 Peter 1:13-16 - As a Christian, your day to day life should be a testimony. You are saying you are a priest of the most high God. It does not fit in to be ambling along, carried about by every wind of doctrine. We are to be children of light.

2 Chronicles -

Luke 18:15-17 - Children were brought to the Lord jesus Christ. They were rejected by the disciples but welcomed by Jesus. He used this as a teachable moment.
