1 Peter 1:3-5 - God is adorable, honourable and worthy to be praised. This is a fact, no matter what your attitude is. It follows that that the Lord Jesus Christ is blessed in the same way.

2 Chronicles 14 - Solomon is known for his wisdom, but sadly he departed from the Lord. As a consequence the nation was divided into two after his death. Asa was one of the kings of the southern kingdom of Judah. We can learn much from him.
