  • The Meek
We will continue in our series through the Beatitudes by looking atMatthew 5:5. Jesus says there that the meek will inherit the earth. The meek are not weak people. Instead, they are characterized by gentleness and strength that is under control. They are people who have become so convinced of God's grace, so confident in their Father's care, and so secure in God's promises that they no longer feel compelled to fight for what God has already guaranteed them in Christ. As a result, gentleness shows up in their lives. Join us on Sunday as we explore how gentleness reveals how deeply we have internalized the Gospel.

  • Those Who Mourn
This Sunday we continue in the Beatitudes with the promise Jesus gives to those who mourn (Matthew 5:4). Many of us quietly believe that a pain-free life is the good life, so we shape our lives to avoid anything that might hurt. When difficulty finally comes, we often build emotional walls to keep from feeling the weight of the loss. Yet Jesus tells us that comfort does not come from avoiding sorrow but from bringing our wounds to him. Mourning becomes the place where he restores. Join us as we explore how honest sorrow opens the heart to the comfort only Christ can give.

  • The Poor In Spirit
Join us on Sunday as we begin a new sermon series for the summer months that will walk through Jesus' teaching on The Beatitudes. InMatthew 5:13, Jesus opens the Sermon on the Mount with a shocking invitation: Blessed are the poor in spirit. In a world that trains us to push, perform, and prove ourselves, Jesus tells us that the gateway to real life is not achievement but radical dependence. The word he uses for poor describes someone completely destitute and entirely reliant on the mercy of another. That is the posture of the kingdom. Rather than hustling to build a resume that secures our worth, we are invited to rest in the grace of the Father. Because Jesus became poor for us, we are free to put down the pressure of self‑promotion and joyfully lower ourselves before him.

  • When You Enter The Land
As Numbers comes to a close, Israel stands on the edge of the land with God preparing them for what lies ahead. Numbers 3436 remind us that God provides generously, drawing the boundaries of a future they have not yet entered and inviting His people to look forward to what they do not yet have. These chapters also show a God who shapes His people through justice and mercy, forming them into a community that reflects His character. And because His promises are certain, we are called to live now with a bold faith, confident in what God has promised. Join us on Sunday as we see how God prepares the way ahead and invites us to live by faith today.

  • Called To Be Faithful
All the way back in Numbers 25:17, God tells Israel to strike down the Midianites for their wickedness. Numbers 31 is not only the fulfilling of that command, but a reminder to us that God will do what he says he is going to do. This is true not only of Gods promises for blessing, but for judgment as well. Join us this Sunday as we look atNumbers 30-33and hear not only of Gods faithfulness, but his command for us to be people of truth and integrity.

  • Worship As A Way Of Life
This week in Numbers 28 we see how God shapes his people by shaping their time. The chapter lays out a pattern of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly rhythms. These rhythms were not empty rituals. They were Gods way of forming a people whose lives were anchored in his presence. As we explore this passage together, we will see how Christ fulfills every one of these rhythms and how they invite us into a life of consistent, intentional worship.

  • Next
As God promised earlier in the book of Numbers, the entire generation that rebelled against him died in the wilderness. Now in Numbers 26 and 27, the next generation stands ready to enter the Promised Land. When God commands Moses to take a census of the people, the passage pauses to remind us that not one of the former generation remained. Even so, Gods promise still stands. He is unmoved by shifting circumstances. He is unchanged in his purpose for his people. His love endures beyond their unfaithfulness. And knowing that this new generation needs a shepherd to lead them, God provides Joshua as the next leader. Join us on Sunday as we consider what it means to trust God with whatever comes next.

  • The Zeal of Phinehas
Despite God's favor upon and faithfulness to his people, the Bible is full of stories of their faithlessness towards him - andNumbers 25contains just such a story.
Join us this Sunday as we hear about the sins of the people of God and the heroic, atoning action of one Israelite named Phinehas - and what it can teach us about our own sin and our perfect savior, Jesus.
