This week we continued our “Grab Bag” series by turning to an important question: Is Jesus our savior? To uncover that we explored the meaning of salvation in Scripture, and the wider culture of Roman Imperial theology. The teaching concludes with a helpful conversation between Josh Scott and Stan Mitchell about the meanings of salvation in Progressive Christianity.

We had such an amazing time celebrating Easter together this weekend! Combined with his crucifixion, Easter is the central event of Jesus’s life in the Gospels. The most important question we can ask about Easter is not what happened, that is beyond our ability to answer. The most important question is what does Easter mean, especially for our lives 2000 years later? Join us as we seek to respond to that question!
