In this episode we have found the one event where all the candidates spoke except for Danny Ford. This is the one event that featured almost all of them and for that reason we chose it to share with you in this abbreviated run off period as we prepare to carry for you the debates between those two candidates fighting for the chance to serve in the United States Senate.Â
In an attempt to be fair we added a WYFF report on Danny Ford at the beginning of the episode.Â

Due to the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, a special election is being held to select the new Republican Nominee in South Carolina to face Dr. Annie Andrews in November. That means August will be a wide open sprint to the finish line all month for twelve candidates that have filed to run.Â
This seat has been held by two people since 1954, Senator Strom Thurmond and Senator Lindsey Graham. It is pretty rare to have the seat come open.Â
In this episode we discuss the candidates that have filed and then we head in to the first event of any candidate in our area when on July 27, 2026, Representative Russell Fry had a meet and greet at the Veterans Cafe, ironically, one of the last venues the Senator Graham held an event in May, which is in our back catalogue of this podcast.Â
This will be an extraordinary campaign over the next month and we hoe to be there to cover it for you starting with this episode and our hometown Congressman turned Senate candidate, Russell Fry.Â

This is part two as we listen in on the two days of Memorial Services for South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.Â
We will hear from the Senator in his won words and then he will be remembered in his home state by the people who knew him the best. Congressman James Clyburn will read a psalm, and his former campaign manager Scott Farmer will speak, and they are followed by eulogies by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, fellow Senator Tim Scott, and former Congressman and Fox News Host Trey Gowdy.Â
Then we will follow the motorcade to the tiny community where Lindsey Graham first started out on the road to world wide fame and influence, Central , South Carolina where he was laid to rest.Â
It has been a sad few days in our home state as South Carolina lost its giant figure on the world stage, but in these episodes we look back at what an amazing impact he certainly had on our state, our country and our world.Â
We would like to acknowledge that this footage was able to be saved from the hard work of South Carolina Educational television. We appreciate the service they provide for our state. We attended the Washington D.C. event and were unable to attend personally the events in South Carolina, therefore this footage we could not have shared without SCETV and its extraordinary employees and their work.Â
