It is the first time we see some of the elbows get pointy in the election so far. Enjoy.

This is the Myrtle Beach Municipal Meet and Greet from late September of 2025. It features all the candidates for Mayor of Myrtle Beach and most of the candidates for Myrtle Beach City Council. Our Host, Randal Wallace, a former Myrtle Beach City Councilman, also served as the MC for the event.
The candidates featured are Mayor Brenda Bethune, Daniel Aumen, Eve Rigney, Mark Kruea, and former Mayor Mark McBride, in the Mayor's race, and council candidates: Terrence Butler, Myra Starnes, Johnnie Bellamy, Nick Vaugh, Sam Fresquez, and Kenya Staten Hennigan.
This format was , in our opinion, excellent because it allowed each candidate to speak for a few minutes and talk about themselves and what their vision is for the city of Myrtle Beach.

Welcome to our new podcast that will focus on our local community here in Horry County S.C. In this first season wie will be focusing in on the local elections in Myrtle Beach and in North Myrtle Beach and we look forward to providing a forum for discussion on our facebook page : Grand Strand Politics.
