As Stuart continues his search for Margalo, he happens upon a lovely country village called Ames' Crossing. While there he spies a little girl his same size named Harriet and wants to meet her.

Stuart sets off on his journey to find Margalo after the automobile is repaired. But when he spots a despondent school superintendent in need of a substitute teacher for the day, Stuart offers to fill in.

Stuart Little is heartbroken. He decides to leave home to search for Margalo. When he seeks out his doctor friend for suggestions where to look, the doctor shares more than his wisdom -- an automobile!

Snowbell enjoys socializing with his fellow felines during the evenings in New York City. A conversation with a local Angora spells trouble for the Little household.

It's a narrow escape for Stuart when bad luck and bad timing leave Stuart resigned to never seeing home again. But just as all seems lost, a happy twist of fate saves Stuart.

Stuart makes a new friend in a lovely bird named Margalo, nursed back to health by Mrs. Little. But the pet cat Snowbell has other intentions for the winged visitor and Stuart knows it!

It's Stuart Little, skipper of the majestic model ship Wasp vs. the Lillian B. Womrath in the grandest regatta New York City's Central Park had ever witnessed. Crowds pushed and shoved to get a glimpse of this epic contest and the Wasp, commandeered by the boy mouse in the sailor suit.

For Stuart Little, it's off to Central Park to watch and admire the miniature sailboats on the high seas of the big pond! There he spots the vessel of his supreme admiration -- the mighty Wasp. His dreams are realized when we is given the opportunity to skipper the craft for its owner.

The Little family search and call out to Stuart to try to find him -- all to no avail. The fear is poor Stuart is dead. When George pulls down the shades in respect, his little brother is rescued at last.
