What started out as a small operation in Sheboygan in 2012 will now produce 14,000 barrels of beer (that is 4.6 MILLION cans) this year, making it the 4th largest craft brewery in the state.
The story behind this rising Wisconsin company is pretty remarkable.
Grant Pauly, a Wisconsin native, who spent time at Google out of college, then homebrewed on the side while working at his family’s business before deciding to break off on his own.
Growth hasn’t come without roadblocks and risks but in a craft beer industry that has become overly saturated and in decline 3 Sheeps has been able to break through the clutter and experience double digit growth year over year.
How have they done it? What does the future look like for the industry and for 3 Sheeps?
Listen to this awesome Wisconsin Business story to find out.
PS: They have very good beer and along with their flagship brewery in Sheboygan they just opened a new spot on Milwaukee’s east side :)
This episode of Milwaukee Uncut is presented by Nicolet Law, 3 Sheeps Brewing and Venture Wisconsin.
