Welcome to another episode of Great Ffing Question where the opening song is unpredictable and the shit storm continues.🔥 But at least recording this is the highlight of Corinne’s week 😉💕

Thankfully 2024 is on its last leg and we’re beginning to look towards 2025. I hear resolutions!!! 🙌🏼

Austin had an amazing Thanksgiving, not that anyone asked. It’s the whole reason he’s doing the podcast after all 😂

And Corinne somehow compliments and insults Austin in the same breath. I mean look at his stupid face, he’s the nicest person on the planet! 😅

We’re manifesting for 2025… say it together now ”I’m a great fuq.” 😏

We’re holiday shopping, getting out of LA, and also giving up weed…(insert Scooby Doo voice). It’s a wild episode as we start wrapping up presents and the year. 🎁✌️

Also, Kids, don’t mess with Corinne. She’s got an army of animals! It’s a live action secret life of pets over here, but more violence. (Ruh roh bitch) 🐾

Wouldn’t it be nice if our problems were more like Christmas movie problems? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Something like worrying that our child will believe in Santa Claus. Or having our car break down in a small town, where a handsome young lumberjack rescues you just in time to write that important piece on the Candy Cane Festival. Or your boyfriend is really frosty the snowman.🎄🎁 ⛄️

You get the point.

It’s that time of the year, where we switch out one white people’s problem show ( aka Friends 😉) for a little more wintery one. ❄️ This week we watched Miracle on 34th Street. 🎅🏽 And while it gave us the feels, it also left us wondering what it would be like to live in these movie universes where the problems seem… not that problemy. 🤔

But alas, we live in the fiery hell of 2024. 🔥

But hey, it’s fun to imagine 😂😭

Happy Thanksgiving to all our loyal GFQ listeners! We’re waifing into the 2024 holiday season with fake hope and real hopelessness. 😭😅

And if you’re wondering what waif means… we don’t know. But it is our new favorite word.

This week we are celebrating Friendsgiving & Friends. I mean it’s not an episode without Friends, Combos, Coachella, and a random impression from Austin. So get your bingo cards ready, it’s a guaranteed winner! 😉

Corinne’s celebrating with tree decorating and buying a huge tv (micro tvs need not apply). We’re looking for big, black, and cheap. 📺 watch out Walmart… she’s coming for you! 💨

We’re talking thanksgiving sides this week. Corinne loves to get stuffed (with stuffing 😉)

And Austin’s personality is Mac & Cheese. 🧀

And the white chick loves mashed potatoes… who would’ve guessed… 👻

We’re giving thanks with free frood, big ole tvs, and a laughable rendition of Amazing Grace. Also, we are definitely going to incorrectly overuse the word waif… 😏

2024 has been a dumpster fire, so why would a presidential election change anything?!?!? 2024 is going to do what 2024 does… 🤷🏼‍♀️🔥💩😭

This week we are dumping… trauma dumping that is. Because unless you’ve been living under a rock… or sleeping like Austin apparently. You know that Trump won. 😩

And while we love our human personification of sunshine, Austin Warren. 🌞 Sometimes you just need to sit in the shit storm ⛈️

So that’s what we’re doing. We laugh and make jokes, but at the end of the day this shit is sad and the unknown can lead to fear and anxiety. (Understandably so)

So of course Austin had to ask a question, that is the Great Ffing name of the podcast after all 😂

The answer isn’t simple. But we’re here and we’ll continue to be here. Building community and laughing. Because honestly what else can we do, we’re comedians after all. 😉

As we get closer to the end of the dumpster fire that is 2024. We are confronted with another hardship of grief. Celebrating the holidays once those you love are gone.

It can be extremely depressing when the people you love, who make the holidays special, aren’t there. And we take on the burdens of keeping our families and traditions going.

You’re not alone. GFQ is a community and we are going through that grief and sadness as well. 💛 and we will continue to show up weekly for all those who need us, because we need it too. 💕

But thankfully, Betty is doing better. We love our (Corinne’s) doggies. And Betty joining the family is a bright spot in the darkness. 💛🐾

We’re numb, we’re grieving, we’re honoring those we’ve lost… at least we’re together and have Disney movies to watch 🥹 (I know, we’re a little corny)
