Deep Breaths it’s another Great Ffing Episode of GFQ. Where the F stands for France, and we go international! (At least Corinne does 😉)

Corinne hops across the pond, goes up the Hill (you know which one), sees a British Icon, and then loses her wallet before taking a ferry to Paris.

‘Cause it’s 2024, and the dumpster fire follows us wherever we go… I mean, who gave this fiery shit storm a passport anyway? 🔥

But don’t worry y’all… she had the emergency combos. 😂

Paris was grand. Palace of Versailles was the highlight. And there was a whole 30 second magical Eiffel Tower moment.

We learn a little French along the way. What’s no in France? 🇫🇷 (non)

Corinne has a bike adventure that ends with a crash. Pardon Moi!!!!

Corinne is the General Colonel of the Roaches 🪳, and we love her for it. There’s really no other way she could survive the dumpster fire that is this year.  ❤️‍🔥

I mean… we are close to Halloween, so we can be dark…

Some people come into your life and have such a profound impact, that it’s impossible to imagine how your life would have been without them. This week we get to hear all about Mrs. Barr and how her kindness & selflessness (almost 30 years ago) changed Corinne’s life forever. (She’s definitely earned the title: the GOAT 🐐)

It’s an emotional episode (because 2024 is an insatiable dumpster fire that continues to destroy & devour all that’s good). But we are so proud of Corinne, who keeps showing up with grace, vulnerability, and a fuckton of humor. RIP Mrs. Bette J Barr. 🙏🏼 We are so grateful for all that you did for our friend.

Austin shares some exciting comedy news. 🙌🏼 And reflects on how it’s bittersweet when our loved ones aren’t physically here any longer to witness our accomplishments. 🥲

We commiserate over the state of the world. 🌎 (I mean it is still a raging dumpster fire after all) And how our options sadly have not changed since 2020. (Thankfully since recording that part has changed 😮‍💨).

And most importantly Austin is introduced to Notting Hill. (And his Hugh Grant impression has improved because of it 😂). Insert stuttering and a whoopsie daisy.

At the end of the day we’re just a podcast, standing in front of a listener. Asking them to love us 🤗 (and send us combos 😉)

It’s not Corn!!!!🌽

Spoiler alert. We took a break from the dumpster fire 🔥 for some over priced popcorn 🍿 & candy to watch Inside Out 2. #FieldTrip Corinne experienced Nicole Kidman’s AMC ad in all its diamond studded glory (welcome to the movie crew, we’re happy to have you 🎥😍). And we all got to experience some therapy a la Pixar. (Cue the tears 😭😭) 2024 has been full of grief, hardship, & loss and Inside Out 2 provided some much needed reflection for all of us. Allowing us to unpack our emotions and accept where we are at. 💛 Seeing yourself clearly can be hard, but thankfully we’ve been able to create a safe space to unpack our emotions & support each other as we grow. Even if those emotions are rage and even more rage. 😡 We laugh, we cry, we boo (sorry Austin) 😂We’re growing! “Just keep trying b*tch!!” It’s another Great Ffing time with my favorites, Corinne & Austin.
