Great morning - and welcome to the new series, Great Morning Abroad! Today I figured I'd go through how I got started planning my trip! For me, it all centered around Europe (so I could see a heap of new countries at once, and practice my Spanish while on exchange!) - I made a list of the places I wanted to see and found a group tour that did as many of them as possible! I'll be sharing some considerations - how long do you have, what's your budget, etc. - and showing how these can also play a role in planning a trip. Now go get out there and see the world!!
If you're looking to do your own travel adventure, I'd HIGHLY recommend using a wise card (if you're from Australia or NZ) - super low fees to load on money, really competitive exchange rates and they're free to set up and use! If you're interested, use my link to get a NZ$900 fee-free transfer at https://wise.com/invite/ath/katrinalynd (not sponsored, but I do earn a small commission when people sign up).
