Green Majority Radio

Climate justice is the only environmentalism that can address the immanent threat of worldwide ecological collapse in the face of the three compounding disasters of the COVID pandemic, growing international fascism, and the massive and widening gap between rich and poor.

We have a discussion about the six principles of a Just Recovery for All, a document of transformative intent in response to COVID and a broad roadmap towards Indigenous justice, international solidarity, worker's rights, local participation, poverty alleviation and ecological sustainability released this week as a result of the work of over 150 organizations across Canada.

The people who harvest our food should be celebrated, not caught in racist & oppressive bureaucracies. We talk about the climate crisis, migrant workers, renewable energy and bugs.

We start with a blitz of stories about oil, gas and reconciliation, then talk about COVID vs. Climate, airline bailouts, Barrick Gold and international mining.

We talk about the madness south of the border, being a mutant oracle, converting oil rigs into geothermal generators, flooding in Fort McMurray, and Saryn interviews Jessie Golem of Humans of Basic Income.

Emma McIntosh joins us to talk negative oil prices after we discuss revolution, just COVID relief, divestment and Planet Of The Humans.

We look at fascism, racism, resistance, lobbying and a just recovery. Amara Possian of 350.org joins us for the last segment.

We talk COVID, billionaires, essential workers, food systems, Chomsky, and degrowth.

We talk about the crucifixion, the coming climate crises, the fossil fuel industry in times of COVID and all the environmental deregulation happening in the name of fighting the pandemic.

Something radical is happening whether we like it or not. We need the courage and determination to face it. We talk about COVID, radical organizing, oil prices and UBI.
