2024 will be another big year on climate, as you may be aware. Our second episode in Season 5 saw us chat with Arielle Gamble, who is making waves for climate action at the grassroots level!
Arielle is the CEO and Co-Founder of Groundswell Giving, a community which provides much needed funding to local organisations making a positive impact on sustainability! The great thing is, everyday individuals like us can get involved too.
Coming from a publishing and human rights background, Arielle talks about her transition into the space, storytelling and the important role of legacy in her life.
She also gave insight to organisations that Groundswell supports, and their new report ‘It’s Up to Us.’ This is a must listen, to learn more about a game-changing organisation!

As the year draws to a close, we are excited to kick off Season 5 with Rujuta Natu, who is solving the challenging problem of emissions management.
Rujuta is the founder of Mantaray, an organisation with helps businesses make more sustainable purchasing choices, by giving insights on where to reduce their supply chain emissions.
She has had an exciting career path from engineer to corporate lawyer to now a founder.

Sustainability needs to be driven by youth, and Izzy Zhu-Maguire personifies this in her amazing work!
Izzy is a Project Coordinator at Monash Sustainable Development Institute, and authored a landmark report 'AusNZPac Youth SDG Index' which looked at how young people in the region are faring against UN Sustainability Development Goals.
She is also passionate about the intersections between climate change, human rights and gender equality. Izzy is the founder of 'Amplify Afghan Women' aiming to highlight the work of this community, and they also apply to international conferences!
Izzy is full of energy, very passionate, oh and did we mention...she also went to COP27?

We were fortunate to be joined by the accomplished Tim Silverwood, co-founder of Ocean Impact Organisation (OIO) which is Australia's first ocean impact ecosystem and startup accelerator.

Welcome back to Season 4! In this episode, we are joined with the amazing Camille Goldstone-Henry, the CEO and Co-Founder of Xylo Systems, a cloud-based platform that makes it easier to manage and measure biodiversity impacts.
The story of Xylo Systems began when Camille and fellow Co-Founder Jada met, and both had the innovative idea to creating effective impact for biodiversity and how environmental workers and researchers track and use data in the natural environment. Since then, the platform has been an agent for change and helps users to be nature positive.
Angela and Vis also speak to Camille a bit more about her Indigenous background and how she came to understand more about her culture and the importance of recognising one's life in Country.
Camille is passionate about the environmental space and is committed to making a change, so you know that this episode is worth listening to.

Welcome back to Season 4! Vis and Angela are back for another goodie and we have two founders on the show - Kimihiro Katsumi (aka Kimmy) and Riho Matsumaru!
Back in June 2021 in Tokyo, Japan, Kimmy and Riho founded allesgood - an online service that helps up-and-coming professionals make their way into the sustainability space, and supports ESG-focused organisations hire their target recruit. They focus on their main product 'Ethical Shukatsu', which translates to 'ethical job-hunting'. Pretty cool, right?
With Kimmy and Riho's grand life experiences in travel and with their entrepreneurial spirit, they provide some fantastic insights on how companies using allesgood and Ethical Shukatsu can get the most out of their recruitment experience, as well as preparing young people for the industry.
