Donald and Diana are joined by Kevin Myles, a civil rights advocate for more than 30 years. Kevin is currently Southeastern Regional Field Director at NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), which is basically the 'Walmart' of civil rights organisations in the US, with a network spanning the entire country. Kevin has been at the forefront of high profile national campaigns, including the fight for justice for Trayvon Martin, Jordan, Davis, Michael Brown and Freddie Gray as well as legislative reforms.
Kevin talks to us about why he believes the United States is the most divided its been in his lifetime - what's caused it and how his organisation is working from the ground up to mobilise and empower voters to participate in the 2020 Presidential Election and overcome the many obstacles being thrown their way (aka 'voter suppression').
We cover the State of the Union address by President Trump, the fallout from the Iowa Caucus and why the coloured vote is more important than ever to both the Republican and Democrat campaigns.
