Diana and Donald take a shallow dive into the current candidates vying to be The Chosen One - the Democratic nominee for the the 2020 US Presidential Election. We give the rundown on the front runners: Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden, as well as some of the outsiders, Pete Buttigieg, Tulsi Gabbard, Amy Klobuchar and Michael Bloomberg. We also find out why Donald is dark on Corey Booker and introduce our first audience feedback/question segment!

Donald and Diana are joined by special guests Dr Gretchen Eick, from Friends University in Wichita, US and her husband (and prolific poet) Michael Poage. We talk about the origins and traditions of Thanksgiving, the native American perspective and why Australians don't get why you'd cook a turkey (again) a month before Christmas.

Chas Licciardello (Planet America co-host) is our special guest. We discuss why Australians care about American politics, what got Donald Betts Jnr into politics as a Kansas State Senator and how he came to be an Australian. And we reflect on Joe Hockey's musings about the differences between America and Australia.
