Diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at a young age, Naomi was told she would be wheelchair-bound by her late teens. Defying these grim medical predictions, her determination was unwavering. Then later, in 2017 she was struck by a distracted driver, resulting in severe injuries, including a brain injury.
