This podcast was formed in 2020 through a UNSW PsychSoc initiative called 'Project Mind' where students aim to improve the mental health of fellow UNSW students. This initiative ran again this year, and the winners of the 2021 Project Mind, Ciaran and Victor are our special guests for this episode. They share their journey with Jaanvi and I-Hsuan, as they talk about how they met, how they came up with their winning idea, and what's more to come!

Have you ever wondered what Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is? In this episode, Sarah and Bassmah (who have completed MHFA training) speak to Roisin Trainor, the Health Promotion Coordinator at UNSW and a registered MHFA instructor.
Roisin breaks down what MHFA training involves and its importance in a university context. We give you a sneak peek into the content and skills you will learn as well as how you can sign up (for free!). Other than this, great tips and advice were shared about how we can approach, help and guide people around us who may be struggling with mental illness.
