bullying is a horrible experience. no kid should ever go through such a thing. it poisons you, but only if you let it. today, i share my experience growing up bullied and how it shaped my character and will to stand up for myself and others. hope to be tackling more of these social issues in my upcoming episodes, so stay tune for those!

if you are a bystander to bullying, don’t be afraid to take action by telling them to stop (involve safe adults if necessary), and make an effort to support and empathize for victims by providing a safe place. breaking the cycle starts by taking action.

when you’re constantly faced with failure, it’s difficult to picture successful outcomes in other experiences. because of this, we tend to miss out on opportunities and lack courage to embrace ourselves due to the possibility of disappointment and regret. today, i share my experiences in dealing with different failing points in my life and how i overcame my fear of failure in hopes to help you guys too hihi, enjoy!

after a good long year, part 2 of “17 things i learned at 17” is finally up! to close off my birthday month, i shared the rest of the lessons i’ve learned through the course of my life. looking back, some things definitely changed, making it quite the comparison with my previous episode HAHA hope y’all enjoyed it as much as i do!

sometimes, we subconsciously seek happiness to an extent where we end up pursuing it. we prioritize it so much that we disallow and invalidate our negative feelings. today, i broke down the concept of toxic positivity, shared signs and solutions on how to break out of it, and embraced the power of honesty in living an imperfect life. definitely one of my fave episodes so far (but i say that for all my episodes anyway HAHA), hope u guys enjoy!

at times, we can be so caught up with reoccurring predicaments in life that we forget to stop and look around at the blessings we're given. today, i share what it means to be grateful, as well as developing steps as to how i practice my gratitudes and how to maintain it. it's raw, authentic, and definitely a good listen! 

with university coming up, some of us are shifting to a new community, life and/or lifestyle which sometimes may seem mind-blowing or even overwhelming. today, tiara, val, and i look back at immense changes that happened within our lives whilst pondering upon how much uncertainties were endured to get to the point we’re at now. from recognizing one’s privileges, gratitudes, to loving oneself and those around, we learn how to ground ourselves in a world of uncertainties. quite a roller coaster of emotions for this one but truly one of the most wholesome episode this podcast has :) <3

as we get older, friendships change over time and we seek more than just the thrill of it; one that you can truly be yourself around and can withstand distance, time and conflict. today, val and i share our journeys growing up falling in and out of our friendship as well as eventually breaking out of our surface level friendship to a much deeper one that'll last a lifetime :) hope you guys had a good listen!
