the ugly truth is that violence and abuse is normalized in our country and mental health is looked down upon. during february of this year, tiara and i openly discussed this reoccurring issue by looking at it through victims’ perspectives, breaking generational trauma, understanding short & long term effects, and emphasizing the importance of empathy. ultimately, hoping to shift our society’s mindsets and stop this stigma.
