In this episode, I sit down with Stephanie Rempel and Katrina Vanderveen of Fortify Natural Wellness. We get into the reality behind starting a business and what it takes. The girls open up about why they felt such a need to create something brand new to Winnipeg. They are extremely genuine about how their journey to entrepreneurship has impacted their relationship with each other (as best friends for over 10 years) and their relationships with their husbands. We talk about taking risks, the unglamorous side of entrepreneurship that people don't often see, and why you need to check out Fortify...now. You are going to fall in love with these two, just as much as I did.
Registration for The Fit Girl Gang: Winter Series opens at 12:00pm CST on December 16th. Make sure to get your spot now at www.fitgirlgang.com

Thank you so much for listening!
In this episode, we interview Dr. Annie Coughlin, ND. She taught us about digestive health, hormones, fertility, and the major differences between seeing a conventional Doctor and a Naturopathic Doctor. We learned so much from her, and spent a ton of time discussing what she believes is necessary for someone to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. We also say the word poop about 98 times.
We're back from our podcast hiatus with a big one. In this episode, we talk to Ashley Wood: Akashic Records reader, creator of A Line Within, and host of Manifest This Podcast. This was a completely new topic for us, and we both basically listened to her in awe for an hour straight. Ashley tells her story of how she learned she had abilities that other people don't, she taught us how to connect to our line within, and she explains how she believes that anyone can connect with their line to manifest the life of their dreams. We can't wait to hear what you think. Love you!

In this week's episode we answer your questions on all things relationships. While we're no experts, we do our best to dive into our own relationship dynamic, and talk all things communication, trust, and conflict. Trigger warning: we get sappy as hell in this episode (a little bit toward each other, but mostly just in our appreciation for you guys being so wonderful and supportive toward this podcast). Enjoy!

In this episode, I (Johanna) wanted to tell you my story. I go all the way back to childhood, and did the best job I could (despite being nervous af) to share how I found fitness, and cheesy as it sounds, found myself.
I hope that telling my story allows us to connect on a deeper level. My intention behind it was to create more context to share specific details and tactics when it comes to forming positive habits, shifting negative thought patterns, and implementing fitness into your life in a sustainable way in future episodes.

In this episode we interview Tom Jansen and Amanda Buhse, the founders of the iconic Winnipeg brand: Coal and Canary Candle Company. We get into everything from how they started and grew their company to the hugely successful business and brand it is today, what makes them stand out in a crowded industry, how they broke through barriers and did the seemingly impossible, and what their advice is to new entrepreneurs. We also laughed non-stop, realized they mimic Q and I in our relationship, ate allll the popcorn and drank wine.

In this episode we interview our BFF Bailey Del Bigio. Bail is an incredibly global talented Make-Up artist. She's been traveling the world over the past four years refining her skills, gaining experience, and a ton of perspective. Everything about this episode is what Growing Up is about; finding yourself, understanding your drive and what motivates you, and deciphering the expectations put on us by family, friends, and society.
Growing Up was inspired by the many (many) wine and cheese night conversations the three of us have had. We're really excited for you to hear an interview that reflects exactly how the Growing Up podcast started.. loving conversations with people we care about and admire most in this world (and a ton of interrupting each other...sorry for that in advance).
