Monique McLeod received her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Saint Leo University. Upon completion, she entered the startup and small-business world to apply her education and expertise and maximize her impact. She applies her combined knowledge of business management and post-crisis leadership to promote strong leadership qualities, culture development, and retention.

Her superpowers are introspection and effective communication. She is best known for helping leaders become more self-aware, verbalize their ideas to create action items, and identify performance indicators to monitor progress. Monique primarily does this work through her company, The Management Suite, a boutique strategic management firm that specializes in building cult brands through organizational development. She assists small businesses in developing strategies to attract and retain employees and clients who rave about their brand.

Other notable work Monique has done includes contributions to course writing for Shaw University's Aspire entrepreneurship program, focusing on business operations for small business owners. Monique currently serves as a Program Coordinator at Synapse Florida, a non-profit startup ecosystem in Tampa, Florida, which she has supported for over two years, especially with its signature event, the Synapse Summit, in programming and speaker relations. Additionally, she also acts as a fractional Director of Operations for a digital marketing automation agency. Previously, Monique was the first Program Coordinator for the non-profit startup Black Innovation Alliance. Before that, she worked as an Operations Manager in the chemical coatings industry at Sherwin Williams. When she isn't busy with work, Monique prioritizes rest and relaxation at home in Tampa, Florida, or out of town—good food, no plans, just vibes.
