Our childhood shapes us into the adults that we are now, especially when it comes to some core emotions: feeling loved, freedom, trust, self-confidence or authenticity. Not to mention our beliefs come from our parents, even if we are conscious of it or not.

Yet, as we grow up and it's time to face our own responsibilities, we still somehow hold our parents accountable for "what was" .

But it doesn't matter actually how you feel about these relationships, they still give a form of comfort, even when they might not be comfortable relationships.
