Sambo. Uncle Tom. Coon. Mammy. They were characters that described what blacks looked like and how they acted which was a false image. Take your time and truly listen to this episode. I guarantee you will hear something you never heard before. This documentary reveals what blacks  had to go through just to play a part on the screen. Since the whites tried to imitate blacks in a false way by the time we wanted to perform others would not except the roles of responsibility , class, and power.
