IT'S FINALY HERE!!!!!!

The long lost Gruecast Halloween episode from 2017. The Gruecast in this form is no more and it has taken me two years to finally edit and release this final episode but I finally got it together and here it is. The audio is a little unbalanced but it sound pretty good for the most part.

I truly enjoyed doing this podcast, especially the Halloween episodes, but I have been working on more and more art projects and doing more and more art shows so I just couldn't keep up with doing a podcast. Maybe some time after the first of the year the Gruecast will return in a different shorter format but I haven't quite figured that out yet.

Recorded on Halloween night, our guests have a great time discussing Halloween Tradition, Costumes and we shared spooky stories. We also have a recorded ghost story sent in by Pam Turlow involving Resurrection Mary. Joining us this episode Eric Schwartz, Millie Schwartz, Aaron Hoge, Denise Hoge and Kathleen Dooley.

This episode contains almost NO political talk. We promise.

Kathleen and I spent a weekend at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago. We did some celebrity gazing [i.e. Norman Reedus and John Barrowman], Talked to some amazing artists, amused by an eclectic collection of cosplayers and hard a blast.

Another long span of time between episodes but we endeavor to sally forth.

Another year at Flashback Weekend in Chicago and I couldn't have done it without Kathleen Dooley and Heidi Schultz. Kathleen and Heidi met some childhood idols and I had some celebrity experiences of my own.

I know what you're thinking. Has Gruecast gone the way of so many entertainment boondoggles like The Chevy Chase Show or Cavemen? Well, we haven't. We're more frequent than Haley's Comet and Less frequent than a waning crescent with the tenacity of a honey badger.

 

The Gruecast finally emerges from Loch Ness. I've clearly failed at maintaining a monthly podcasting schedule so I guess I'll just have to settle for a better-late-than-never schedule.

In this very, very, very, very, very, very, late episode a have a scintillating conversation with myself. I blather on about new projects and contemplate the evil or not so evil intentions of iconic horror antagonists. Are they evil, misunderstood or do they have a warped sense of morals. I'm not a doctor or a psychiatrist but I know a lot of words and I can harvest the mighty power of Google and IMDB.

We changed our name to Gruecast and we're talking about ghost tours. Joining me in this episode is my wife Kathleen and our unofficially adopted daughter, Heidi Schultz. This episode is broken up into three sections. Kathleen and I bookend the episode and then Heidi and I have a conversation about ghost tours that morphed into the theory of ghosts, Ouija boards, ghost hunters, sadistic parents, curses, bogus psychics and I think maybe a little theology. I got a little heady.
