It’s finally happened, Jaxon Radoc has made his first appearance as a semi-regular co-host alongside Brendan John and Dean Sage. They cover a spectrum of recent topics, all related to showing off our true colors and perhaps being more ourselves even when others try to keep that from happening. Even though she’s faced defeats and road blocks in court, Kesha with producer Zedd have a released a single ahead of her tour which is set to kick off in a few weeks and hit Pittsburgh Pride early on. The guys give their own examples of having issues with larger organizations and Dean makes a point that we all need to help stop predatory practices in every industry, not just Music and Porn. And that you vote with your money. Also, Colton Haynes has made a public statement confirming his sexuality the week after we talked about his situation on the Podcast. It wasn’t so much that he needed to “come out” or not, but that he and many other men and women are asked to hide who they are in order to get roles and jobs, and that kind of thing needs to stop. Finally, because WeHo has decided that Pride is actually just a big Music Festival, the guys debate whether the classic things like mostly naked twinks and public displays of all aspects of the gay culture are becoming a thing of the past, or if Pride still needs to exist with all it’s glorious, semi-naked bits alongside the music and Drag Queens and parades.

You all have been twitting and chatting and we’ve been listening. Brendan and Dean respond to two listener questions/topics this week, and can’t wait to do that more often. The idea of twinks is slowly losing meaning, but there will always be smoother, younger, gay men who either choose to, or just are more feminine than others. The first question was whether “fem twinks” should ever have beards. Body hair is an interesting topic for Brendan and Dean. They both have a love hate relationship with it themselves, and for Brendan it can be a turn on in others. From permanent hair removal to Brendan’s butt, the two figure out where and why body hair falls into sex and sexuality. Then they tackle what happens when you’re done promoting or selling your body and your sexuality. A lot of porn stars and others who have used their physical attractiveness to make money when young try to forget it when they are older. Colton Haynes is just one of many mainstream examples of someone doing a photoshoot early on and then regretting it or being embarrassed by it later. But why is this still a thing? Why does a teen-smexy shoot mean you can’t be an action hero or doing a gay makeup photo mean you can’t play a straight character? How is this still a thing?
