In today's episode of Revenue Reimagined, we're joined by Ryan Staley, Founder and CEO of WhaleBoss.
Ryan has taught over 800 CEOs, VPs, and leaders how to grow their tech companies from $1 million to $30 million or more using the principles in his proprietary framework. He explains that he was attracted to sales because he saw the opportunity to be compensated based on results rather than tenure or promotion. However, he eventually hit a ceiling in his income and wanted to do his own thing, contributing to something meaningful while helping others. Staley believes that a certain level of "sickness" is required to become a CEO or CRO, as it requires a hard-driving personality. This episode also touches on the risks of AI if we don't learn how to use it responsibly, and if no regulation is ever introduced. While AI is an incredible resource, it does stand to cause a lot of harm in its path to mainstream use.
During today's show, Ryan shares his secrets on:
- the mindset of sales execs and high-ranking leadership
- what makes AI so great (and scary!)
- Autonomous Agents and what to expect from AI in the coming years

In today's episode of Revenue Reimagined, we're joined by Scott Marker, Founder and CEO of MCA Squared.
Scott Marker, a B2B sales and marketing strategist, discusses his new book advocating for a customer-centric model in B2B sales. He believes that buyers avoid interactions with salespeople due to misaligned KPIs and compensation structures. Marker explains that many companies lack a process for what happens after they acquire a new customer. He emphasizes the importance of making customers feel valued and welcomed. Marker's superpower is simplifying complex problems, and he believes that a shift in mindset is necessary for companies to see results. He notes that many sales leaders are stuck in the past and afraid to change. Marker stresses that many companies are "screwed up" and that only a small percentage of people want to do something different.

In today's episode of Revenue Reimagined, we're joined by Kris Rudeegraap, CEO at Sendoso.
Kris has more than a decade of experience in go-to-market strategies and previously worked at Talkdesk, Yapstone, and Pakora, where he discovered the value of creating meaningful engagements through direct mail and gifting. The idea for Sendoso came from Kris’s experiences manually creating handwritten notes and packing swag boxes, which he believed could be automated, integrated, and scaled. Sendoso helps companies automate and scale direct mail and gifting campaigns to stand out and break through the noise of email marketing. Kris emphasizes that meaningful gifting is crucial and suggests considering the right time to send the gift, the message with the gift note, and the gift itself, as well as the timing and who else is receiving it on the buying committee. Kris also notes that personalization is key and that just like bad emails, sending out bad gifts wastes time and effort.
During today's show, Kris shares his secrets on:
- meaningful interactions vs checking the box
- secrets to impactful giving
- automation and scaling
Any founder, entrepreneur, or business leader can steal the lessons Kris shares in this episode and use them for their own success.

In today's episode of Revenue Reimagined, we're joined by Rachel Mae, GM of Partnership Enablement and Licensing at A Sales Growth Company.
Rachel Mae is an expert on all things Gap selling. In this episode, she discusses the importance of aligning sales and marketing in order to create a shared common sense of values and a common idea around how to think about and speak to buyers. Mae emphasizes the need to align the entire revenue engine in marketing, sales, and customer success (CS) around a shared understanding of the business problems that products and services solve for buyers. She notes that the lack of understanding around who owns what can create confusion and conflict between sales and marketing. Mae believes that, to achieve alignment, there needs to be clarity and agreement on who owns what, which may vary from organization to organization. While alignment does not always mean agreement, Mae argues that friction between sales and marketing can be productive if it leads to a better understanding of the customer journey and the need to align messaging throughout the buying cycle.
During today's show, Rachel shares her secrets on:
- productive "friction"
- clarity needed in roles
- sales and marketing strategy alignment
