Here’s another little flavor of some of the acts that played last night at our Unplugged Club. The club gets together on the first Tuesday of every month down at the Golden Lion, free entry.

It’s a friendly welcoming space where anybody can get up and have a go at whatever skill level they are at and perform whatever music they’re working on to an audience of like minded musicians who are there to sit and listen and not just a pub full of punters who are there to drink and chat over the music.

Each month we have a loose theme to try and inspire people to write to or learn songs for. We also have a music related raffle with prizes kindly donated by kendall guitars and vinyl vaughans there’s a chance at the end for a short jam session and a chat.

This month’s theme for the club was mental health in honour of the “out of the box” charity CD that is being put together by Graham Durden and Apocalypse studios, if you would like to sign up to record your music for the project then email [email protected] and they’ll give you more information. We’ve selected a few songs from last night based around the theme that’ll give you a taster of the evening.
