Through their programming, they provide safe, respectful and welcoming overnight accommodations, meals and support to those experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity in South Simcoe.

S.H.I.F.T is committed to facilitating connection to further services, resources and community.

S.H.I.F.T’s programming has grown exponentially since its humble beginnings as an Out of the Cold program. S.H.I.F.T is currently operating in its 5th season. They now serve the community in 4 essential ways:

• Emergency Overnight Shelter Program
• Community Dinner Program
• Outreach Program
• Daytime Drop-In Program.

Unfortunately, the need for S.H.I.F.T’s services has only grown over the past 5 years. To date, they have been the extremely lucky benefactors of Anchor Point Church. Anchor Point Church has made it possible for S.H.I.F.T to give back to the community these past 5 years. S.H.I.F.T have long since known they had outgrown their current space. It is a serendipitous moment that Anchor Point Church now needs to reclaim the space for their own, as S.H.I.F.T is ready to plant some new roots.

So, it’s time to find S.H.I.F.T a new home. It’s a scary endeavour. S.H.I.F.T knows better than most how expensive the housing market is. They are calling on the support of our community and they are asking for your pledge and commitment as they begin this journey with a goal to raise $500,000.
