GuitarCast with Andy Keathley

This episode of the GuitarCast features Los Angeles-based guitarist David Volk. Dave has a vast knowledge of bluegrass, country, western swing, & gypsy jazz. We talk about his musical influences and jam a few tunes (I Am A Pilgrim, Desert Sky, Chisolm Trail, & Long Journey Home). GuitarCast is sponsored by Zuri Food. Fresh, all-natural, human grade dog food made in Southern California. www.zurifood.com Don't forget to subscribe on iTunes, leave a 5-star review, and tell a friend about GuitarCast!

This episode of GuitarCast features Nate LaPointe. We talk about touring the world with the late Bobby Womack, growing up with the Grateful Dead, and ALMOST uniting both parties for a jam session. Also hear our impromptu renditions of "Deal" and "It's All Over Now"

On the third episode of the GuitarCast, we'll listen to the entire Raising Sand Tribute concert that I put on with Kensington Presents concert series. This show featured Pretty Polly (Jessie Payo & Leeann Skoda) singing the Robert Plant & Alison Krauss parts, backed by The Get Down Boys. Last episode's guest, Molly Miller, is also featured on electric guitar.

On the second episode of the GuitarCast, I sit down with Molly Miller. We talk about earning a doctorate in music, gender norms, and touring with Jason Mraz. We also reminisce about the Raising Sand tribute concert that we were both a part of, which will also be the feature for next week's GuitarCast. And as always, we jam some tunes for fun. Also, I'm very excited to welcome Zuri Food as a friend and sponsor of the GuitarCast! Fresh, all-natural, human-grade dog food made right here in Southern California. Get amongst it at zurifood.com

Andy talks with Drew Taubenfeld about teen rebellion, moving to Los Angeles, and playing guitar for Leon Bridges.
