In Nairobi, Kenya, Paramedic Stella Zakina is preparing for the start of her shift when she is alerted to an attack taking place at the city's popular Westgate shopping mall.

Local businessman Abdul Haji is in a meeting when he receives a text from his brother saying he is trapped inside the mall where a terrorist attack is taking place.

So begins the incredible story of how civilians and emergency workers alike rushed to the scene of one of the worst terrorist atrocities in recent times, risking their lives to do everything they could to help those caught up in it all.
