HAIR LOSS EDUCATION

Krysia West established the Postiche Academy in 2020, after experiencing hair loss herself, she is passionate about hair and hair loss, and wanted to provide hair loss training for other stylists and hair professionals.

She recognised that there was little training for hairdressers and barbers on how to consult with clients on hair loss, and, after studying trichology, she wanted others to become an asset to their workplace by developing knowledge in this area.

As more and more clients are coming into the salon with hair loss and scalp problems, early recognition and referral could lead to prevention and will definitely give the best possible outcome for anyone experiencing hair loss.

We discuss a holistic approach to hairdressing, being able to care for and nurture our clients and who to collaborate with to build a network of professionals for support and guidance.
