The word of God says in Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, God s will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

The whole world need direction and the light of God.Let the whole world see Christ in you.

As it is written Christ in me the hope of glory not the hope of shame.

The holy bible says in Mathew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Daniel 12:3)

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever

Romans 8:26

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

We read of evil taking place beyond comprehension. The prince shortchanged with the slave.

Healing from God makes a difference. When Jesus touches not only are we healed but we are made whole.

we read the story of Elijah the prophet a man who had performed Miracles so great.A man who suspended rain.A man who killed 850 prophets of Baal and prophets of the groove.A man who commanded fire to fall from heaven but certain strange occurrences happened.After major outstanding victories he fled for his life at the threat of a woman.

John the Baptist a forerunner of Jesus.A man who baptized Jesus,a man who said of Jesus , behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

A man who said he isnt qualified to untie sandal of Jesus feet.

While in prison sent his disciples.Go and ask Jesus is he the messiah we have been waiting for or we keep waiting.

Discouragement and depression had set in.

In 1 king. 19:4-8

And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying,“So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”

So strange at the threat of a woman elijah fled for his life.

We read

James 4:10 says

 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.

Humility is an essential part of the Christian faith.

God encourages humility

Humility opens doors ,

humility can save lives.

humility brings help and compassion.

humility of a woman in marriage can win the heart of her husband,

humility in relating with people attract friendship while pride,arrogance make enemies.

Humility can lift you high in favour.

Without humility, we can never repent of our sin and turn to God.

Humility is the ability to be without pride or arrogance and it is a principal character that should be seen in those who follow Jesus Christ. Jesus is the best example of someone who humbly followed God's plan for His life.

Moses was humble

Ruth was humble

Mary was humble

Job was humble.

Daniel was humble.

The 3rd captain of the fifty soldiers sent to bring elisha was humble and it saved his life and that of his soldiers.while his predecessors acted in pride which cost their lost and a hundred soldiers were roasted alive.

Esther's humility won the heart of the king.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience

1 peter 5: 5

 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders.

Understand this

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

May God grant you understanding and a humility.
