Join us in The Cafe as we pare down the 2024 Hallmark Christmas movies to a bakers dozen of favorites, along with some choice side dishes and a tasty dessert or two. Your table is ready for the final time in 2024!
The Hallmark Christmas movie season is coming to a close as we take a look at some last minute gift ideas with two Miracles of Christmas movies, "Trading Up Christmas" and " All I Need For Christmas." Were they on your list? As always, we've got an extra seat at the table for you right here in The Hallmark Cafe!
On this episode of The Cafe we take a closer look at the DaySpring offering, "Following Yonder Star." Brook D'Orsay and John Brotherton star in this unique Christmas story where faith and the stars guide two strangers to a new understanding of love and forgiveness. As an extra special gift, director Jeff Beesley guides us through how the movie was made with wonderful behind the scenes stories of this holiday love story.
We welcome Barbara Niven and Peter Benson to The Cafe to share their experiences making the wonderful, "Leah's Perfect Gift." Barbara talks about playing the controlling but vulnerable Barbara (never Barb!) and Peter gives us some insight into what it was like directing the talented cast. Join us all at the table for this edition of The Hallmark Cafe!
Our main course this week straddles between homage and parody and does both equally well. "Sugarplummed" hits all the right buttons with Maggie Lawson and Janel Parrish winning the award for best buddy performances of the year. For dessert, we look in on The Camarena Family to see how their Christmas is shaping up in Episode six of "Holidazed." We then reveal the winner of "Finding Mr. Christmas," while touching on some of the highlights of the series. Your table is always ready at The Hallmark Cafe!
We have lots of presents under the tree in The Cafe for this episode. For our main course, we travel back to 1999 for some fun and a few tears in "A '90s Christmas." We introduce our new "side dish" segment and break the ice with a quick look at "The Christmas Quest," then followup with episode five of "Holidazed" and episode six of "Mistletoe Murders" for dessert. Hurry down the chimney and find your table on this edition of The Hallmark Cafe!
Join us in The Hallmark Cafe as we head for "The Finnish Line" via dog sled in this fast paced adventure starring Kim Matula and Beau Mirchoff. Shot on location in Finland and featuring an international cast, the race is on to see who wins the championship on a wild ride to the top of the world. For dessert, we meet the new Mrs. Miracle played by the amazing Rachel Boston in a role she seemingly was born to play. Can she help heal a family at odds with each other at Christmas time? Join us in The Cafe to find out!
It's a jam packed edition of The Hallmark Cafe as we discuss the comedies "Three Wiser Men and a Boy" and "To Have and to Holiday," both from The Hallmark Channel. We then switch over to Hallmark Plus for the streamer's latest offerings, which include the Christmas cul-de-sac fun on episode four of "Holidazed", and a new murder investigation on episode five of "Mistletoe Murders." We also peek in on the contestants on "Finding Mr. Christmas" to see who stays and who goes. Your table is waiting for you on this edition of The Hallmark Cafe!
We manage to squeeze in three movies on this edition of The Hallmark Cafe starting with "A Carol For Two," a Christmas celebration of Broadway that is filled with the best singing on Hallmark this season. We then spend some time with The Lin Family in the hilarious episode three of the "Holidazed" series on Hallmark Plus. We round things off with a holiday salute to first responders in, "Christmas on Call." Your table is always ready at The Hallmark Cafe!
On this edition of The Cafe we meet families navigating the bumps and turns of the holidays in today's world. "Christmas with the Singhs," finds a newly engaged couple from two different cultures encountering the fun and friction of blending their families together. In the first two episodes of the eight-part series, "Holidazed," we meet seven families of Oak Harbor, Oregon who will all discover a new meaning of Christmas. We've got extra seating available in this edition of The Hallmark Cafe.
